Everyone was pretty nervous about this as none of knew what to expect. But we didn't have anything to worry about at all. Setting up of the hammocks and tarp, to keep us protected from rain was fun and easy. The hammocks were comfortable to sleep in as well, which was a bonus! It was like a weird but wonderful sleep over with your friends.

Everyone kept covered up, scared of the leeches but only 2 people out of the group actually had any sort of run ins with the leeches.

They provided us with breakfast, lunch and dinner. You felt as safe as you possibly could in the jungle. The guide was amazing for both the night walk and the river cruises. He knew exactly what everything was and could tell you the history and amazing facts about each animal we saw.

On the river cruise, we saw so many animals, from to scorpions. But the most exciting by far was seeing an Orang-u-tan and her baby in the wild (which I didn't get a picture of!). It was, in fact, only the third sighting the guide had had this year! The guide has the most amazing eye sight and could spot things that you wouldn't have even noticed without binoculars.

I thought the night walk was actually quite scary and full of bugs an spiders! Yuk. But we did see some amazing creatures, our guide even picked up a scorpion.

Definitely a poisonous frog

Look how massive this ant is!

Overall the jungle experience was exciting and I would love to do it again at some point.
